Barrfield Road is a conversion and rebuild of nine apartments across two adjoining Victorian buildings in Salford — one three-bedroom and eight two-bedroom homes, delivered in 2025/26.

The scheme sits on a difficult site with a complex planning history — exactly the kind of brief Tenax was built for. Careful retention of the existing red-brick envelope, contemporary interventions where the fabric allowed, and interiors specified for how people actually want to live in period buildings.

The result is homes that feel rooted in the street they sit on, but built to modern standards for insulation, sustainability and layout.
